Dermal Fillers

As we age, our skin loses collagen and fat, leading to volume loss, wrinkles and laxity. Dermal fillers can help to rejuvenate the skin by restoring lost volume. The most common filler is hyaluronic acid, which is a naturally occurring molecule that hydrates the skin. By carefully and skilfully placing dermal fillers, we can reduce wrinkles, shadows and laxity, giving the skin a more youthful appearance. You can book a free consultation at our Taringa clinic with our experienced nurse injector Maya who work with board-certified dermatologist Dr Davin Lim.

One of the many benefits of dermal fillers is that they are not permanent. They are slowly absorbed by the body over time, which means you can choose when and how long you want to maintain the results. And if you ever change your mind, dermal fillers can be completely reversed using an enzyme to dissolve them. So if you're looking for a way to enhance your appearance without making a long-term commitment, dermal fillers may be the perfect solution.

Dermal filler migration means that your dermal fillers have moved or spread unintentionally over time. Migration is rare, but it is more common in areas such as the tear troughs, & lips (especially if filler is placed in the upper lip).

If your fillers have migrated, it is not always noticeable. Migration can present in many ways, a lack of a defined border between the lip edge, blue under the eyes or lumps & bumps.
