What is the best type of peel for acne prone skin?

BHA peels also known as salicylic acid peels are best for acne. This peel is lipophilic, meaning it penetrates deeper into the oil gland. It also is a powerful chemical exfoliant that can remove even the most stubborn blackheads

What type of peel gives results without downtime?

AHA peels or ‘lunchtime peels’, in particular glycolic acid are the most powerful peels without downtime. These peels are performed in a step up program, consisting of an escalating concentration every 2 to 3 weeks. 

AHA peels are powerful enough to remove pigmentation, sun spots and wrinkles. 

    What is the best peel for sensitive skin?

    Mandelic acid and enzyme peels are gentle on the skin. If you suffer from rosacea, or sensitive skin, we recommend lasers over peels.

    Salicylic acid, low strength AHAs and retinoic acid peels are safe in all skin types. Darker skin types are ideally suited for pico lasers over chemical peels. Lasers are far safer and more effective than peels in skin of colour. 

    What works better, chemical peels or microneedling?

    Chemical peels are more cost effective and in most cases a more effective treatment, with the added benefits of no downtime.
